The Origins of Frequency-Testing
The possibility of communicating directly with the body would never have presented itself had it not been for the now-celebrated chiropractor Dr. George Goodheart. In 1962, the conscientious doctor set about resolving a stubborn problem in one of his patients. Despite multiple adjustments, the patient’s shoulder blade remained the same: stubbornly jutting out from his back. Dr. Goodheart researched various possible solutions and came across a muscle-testing technique used by another doctor to test muscle damage in polio patients.
He found that the muscles connected to one side of his patient’s shoulder blade were very strong, while the antagonist muscles on the other side were weak. After massaging the excessively strong muscles, the weak muscles regained their strength, and both sides became strong and balanced. The shoulder blade returned to its normal position and the problem was resolved.
Encouraged by this, Dr. Goodheart went on to discover that all muscles are related to specific organs and meridians, and a weak muscle can indicate weakness in its related organ and meridian. In addition to massage, he found that a weak muscle and organ could also be strengthened by certain foods, herbs, and homeopathic remedies. By placing possible remedies on the body and testing a weak muscle, the body would “select” the one it wanted by changing from weak to strong. This technique became known as Applied Kinesiology and Muscle-Testing.
The term “muscle-testing” is actually a misnomer: the objective was never to test the muscle itself, but to assess the success or failure of certain chiropractic adjustments on the body. It soon became clear that this binary “strong-weak” or “yes-no” language was in fact the positive or negative response of the body’s electromagnetic circuits to frequencies being placed on the body. Muscle-testing is essentially a language of frequencies, which is why I call it “Frequency-Testing”.
Little by little, the amazing potential of this binary “language'“ evolved into many other specialist forms of kinesiology, most notably “Touch for Health”, developed by Dr. John Thie, as a lay version of Applied Kinesiology. Other forms of Applied Kinesiology include Nutritional Kinesiology, Educational Kinesiology, and Health Kinesiology.
YOUR FREQUENCY IS UNIQUE
Quantum physics has transformed our understanding of the way the universe works. Matter is not the solid substance we once thought it was. In reality, it is made up of particles of light frequencies. These carry the information that shapes and powers our universe and our bodies, with everything vibrating to its own unique frequency. The human body and mind are no exception.
Each cell in our bodies produces a tiny electric charge due to the chemical interaction between sodium (+) and potassium (-). Apparently, the body can produce between 10 and 100 millivolts of the electricity necessary for it to function. An electric eel can generate up to 600 volts! We are not just unique beings of light, but electromagnetic as well. This provides the polarity necessary for physical life.
When light energy circulating in the body’s meridians is low, excessive, or blocked, it is the equivalent of the body losing power. This can cause a problem, unless normal energy is restored, perhaps through positive thoughts, a particular food or herb, a spinal adjustment, or the elimination of a toxic organism. All of these have their own vibrations: some are in sync with the body’s unique frequency, while others are not. Your body can tell which is which right away. What’s more, your body can’t lie!
HOW FREQUENCY-TESTING WORKS
Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) has worked with the acupuncture meridians (energy circuits) in our bodies for thousands of years for diagnosing problems and rebalancing the body. The acupuncturist stimulates points along a meridian to remove an energy blockage, boost
inadequate energy, or sedate excess.
There are 14 major meridians circulating around and through our bodies. Six YIN meridians travel upwards, and six YANG meridians travel downward, all either originating or ending at a particular finger or toe. Each of the twelve meridians is associated with a specific muscle group, organ, and system of the body. The Central (YIN) meridian travels up the center front, while the Governing (YANG) travels over the head and down the back. Both regulate the other meridians and their related organs. The existence of the acupuncture meridian has been scientifically proven. If you want direct evidence, you can use an “acupen” to locate specific acupuncture points. As the “acupen” is guided along a meridian, a high beeping sound is produced whenever it passes over an acupuncture energy point.
Fortunately, frequency-testing is far simpler than acupuncture, and no needles are required! It works within the meridian system by challenging a strong (locked) muscle with light pressure on a raised arm. If the muscle remains strong, the energy circulating through the meridian is functioning normally. If the body is then challenged with something that is not good for it, e.g. a negative memory or a large slab of gooey cake, the meridian will register those frequencies and the otherwise strong muscle will experience a momentary “short circuit” and give way. In other words, the muscle now becomes weak (unlocked). It is important to present only one issue or question at a time for the binary language of frequency-testing to work.
A “short circuit” could be caused by a negative statement, an allergic reaction to a food or nutritional supplement that the body does not need or want, or slight pressure on a painful area on the body or a body organ. If the challenged muscle weakens, it is saying “That is a problem”. If it remains locked, it is saying “That’s not a problem”.
Your first step towards being able to resolve physical and emotional problems and rebalance the body is to learn how to communicate with the bodymind’s unique frequency. Next, you will learn the basic technique of frequency-testing and how to “listen” to the bodymind.
